Our Executive and Leadership Program

After my last post, several of my friends and connections, some of whom don’t practice martial arts, asked me about our Executive and Leadership Program.

This special program is open to a limited number of participants and is designed for experienced executives, professionals, and leaders who already carry significant responsibility within their own disciplines.

The structure is deliberately symbiotic.

On the dojo floor, participants train in Jin Sei Ryū Karate-Dō alongside other students, practising technique, syllabus, and disciplined physical training as part of the wider community. There is no separation from the work itself.

Alongside this, training is supplemented by structured discussions and reflective sessions, where I work with participants to explore how the meditative themes of Jin Sei Ryū Karate-Dō can be intentionally applied within their own professional domains, including business, government, technology, education, sport, and medicine.

Just as importantly, the exchange flows both ways.

Through dialogue, we examine how the lived experiences of high-performing professionals, such as decision-making under pressure, leadership, ethics, accountability, failure, and renewal, can inform and deepen our own understanding and practice of Jin Sei Ryū.

This is not a coaching program separated from training.

Nor is it karate adapted for executives.

It is an exchange of insight between practitioners who have committed deeply to their respective paths, grounded in mutual respect, discipline, and reflection.

They learn from me.
I learn from them.

Our regular dialogue strengthens our most experienced leaders, our organisation, our community and our culture.
