Benefit Tournament
2026 Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do Australian Benefit Tournament
July 14, 2026|by Jin Sei Ryu
What a wonderful day at the 2026 Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do Australian Benefit Tournament.
On behalf of everyone at Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do, thank you to our distinguished VIP guests, instructors, competitors, officials, volunteers and supporters who helped make the day such a success.
We sincerely appreciate every student and dojo that chose to participate. Your friendship, sportsmanship and positive spirit are what make this event so special.
This tournament is about much more than competition.
Since 2000, we have proudly organised annual Benefit Tournaments to bring the martial arts community together while supporting worthwhile charitable causes. These events were first conducted on behalf of the World Seido Karate Organization Australia, and since 2019 have continued under Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do.
Over the past 26 years, our goal has remained unchanged: to use martial arts as a vehicle for building community, developing character, and giving back to society. Through the years, we have raised over $80,000 for various charities and community activities.
This year, through the participation of copmetitors and the generosity of supporters, we are delighted to have raised $3,000 through the Jin Sei Ryu Community Outreach Fund in support of the Cancer Council Australia, Headspace Australia, Black Dog Institute, and the Public Education Foundation.
We continue to strive to provide a tournament that is:
– Fair and professionally officiated
– Competitive and enjoyable
– Good value for competitors and families
– Respectful and free from political influence
– Positive and encouraging
– Welcoming to practitioners of all martial arts schools and styles
Thank you for placing your trust in us. We hope you leave with valuable experiences, lasting memories, new friendships, and renewed inspiration for your training.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the 2027 Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do Australian Benefit Tournament on Saturday, 3 July 2027.
Until then, train hard, reflect deeply, grow and develop, and serve others.
Osu!
