The Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do 2026 Australian Benefit Tournament brings together students, instructors, families, and friends from across Australia, united through disciplined practice, respectful competition, and shared purpose.

This special annual event celebrates karate as more than sport: it is a vehicle for personal growth, community connection, and service.

  • Proceeds from this tournament will support:
    • Cancer Council Australia (in memory of Shihan Barry Williams)
    • Headspace Australia (in memory of Senpai Rory Byrnes)
    • Black Dog Institute (in memory of Senpai Jamie Karmas)
    • Public Education Foundation (in memory of Sensei Kathryn Byrnes)

Funds are distributed through the Jin Sei Ryu Community Outreach Fund, supporting health, wellbeing, and education initiatives that align with our values.
